Baby Shower #1

Our good friends Ariel, Nicole and Jane threw Baby Dean her first baby shower. Lots of friends from childhood and present came. Abby and Shawna were pregnant and Christina brought her "little" guy Landon. He was 9 months and basically took a nap in the dark basement the whole time.
Dean was so sweet and slept the entire time while we opened gifts and told stories and ate yummy appies!

Sweet  Baby Dean was born April 9th a 00:47...came into our lives at 9lbs (after pooping twice, once coming out, and once on mommy and then peeing) she was 22 inches long.

I've never loved anything more in my life....am so excited to share her life guiding her and loving her more and more each day!

A big day for us! Matthew and I were married at Ringo-En Orchards surrounded by our loved ones.

A great day....a fun day...We so appreciated everyone that came out to be with us!! The weather couldn't have been more perfect, not too hot, not too cold. Then again I had quite a few layers on my dress! I was sweating the entire time!

I have always loved to tease my brothers and went around asking each one of them what was going to happen on my wedding night...These were there reponses:

Little Keith: turned bright red and started stammering

Caleb: said there would be black people....and sheep....(I didn't let him finish..)

Dean: was instantly angry and told me to never bring this up again...haha (I felt triumphant)

James: turned bright red and started stammering

Riley: smiled and winked at me....

I wonder if anyone else thinks it is strange that my 11 year old brother was the coolest out of all of them....

Our wedding day started off with dad coming over to my house and making all my female friends and female family members crepes with whipped cream and fruit for breakfast. Dad left, and mom showed up to help with hair and makeup.

Matt was getting ready at his uncle's house (it rained the night before and the boys all had to cover the wet ground)

Brian Burgess married us in front of our family and close friends. Three of my favorite parts about the ceremony: 1) Jakhi didn't want to be flower boy so Riley took the basket and started throwing roses everywhere...looked like fun to Jakhi so he started crying because he all of the sudden wanted to be the flower boy again. 2) I forgot Matt's ring 3) in the middle of the ceremony as a joke I told Matt I didnt want to go through with it anymore...haha..he didn't laugh like I did.

Overall a great day...followed by most of the guests getting sick with vomitting and diarhea....but that can be a story for another day!!
